“DOGGY STYLE CAUSES CANCER & STROKE” – SOUTH AFRICA’S MINISTER OF HEALTH WARNS

South Africa’s Minister of Health, Aaron Motsoaledi, has said ‘doggy’ style during sex is the major cause of cancer and stroke.

He said after three years of arduous research, he found out that the high pumping of blood during sex, when one is standing or kneeling overloads the veins in the legs which ultimately causes stroke.

He told The Insider, “On cancer – one of the main causes of cancer is stress, fatigue and tiredness.

“The most energy consuming and stressful sexual position for men is doggy; hence the connection is more than clear.

“Look, I am only giving you guys a snippet, but we will be posting the results of the full research on the Ministry website.”

He added that he is in talks with Home Affairs Minister, Malusi Gigaba to craft a legislation that will seek to outlaw this style.

According to him, occasional doggy style like only on Christmas day and Valentine is harmless but be sure that each night is suicidal.

“This is the reason why South African married men die and leave their wives a lot these days,” the 58-year-old man added.

China's imports and exports fell again in July by an unexpectedly wide margin

China's exports fell again in July by an unexpectedly wide margin while a decline in imports accelerated in a possible sign of weakness in the world's second-largest economy.

Exports contracted 4.4 percent to $184.7 billion, a slight improvement over June's 4.8 percent contraction, customs data showed Monday. Imports fell 12.5 percent to $132.4 billion, accelerating from a decline of 8.4 percent.

Weak global demand has hampered efforts to shore up Chinese trade and stave off job losses in export industries. The contraction in imports reflects possible weakness in the domestic economy, but the figures also are depressed by a decline in prices of oil and other commodities.

Chinese economic growth held steady at 6.7 percent in the quarter ending in June compared with a year earlier, though that was the lowest quarterly level since the aftermath of the 2008 global crisis.

The declines in both exports and imports were worse than many forecasters expected.

"The data dash hopes that a pick-up in global manufacturing growth last month might have buoyed shipments from China," said Julian Evans-Pritchard of Capital Economics in a report.

"The country's export growth is likely to remain subdued for some time," said Evans-Pritchard. "While we think the worst is probably over for many emerging markets, global growth is likely to remain lackluster well into next year."

The slump in imports meant China's global trade surplus swelled by 22 percent from the same month a year ago to $52.3 billion.

China's trade surplus with the European Union, its biggest trading partner, was $11.8 billion. The surplus with the United States was $24.7 billion.

Even taking lower prices into account, the Chinese figures suggest imports fell by 5.3 percent, according to Louis Kuijs of Oxford Economics.

"It implies that volumes dropped substantially month on month," said Kuijs in a report. "It may herald that domestic demand started to slow down in July."

Philippine Leader Rodrigo Duterte Denounces 150 Public Servants as Bloody Drug War Intensifies

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte publicly linked more than 150 judges, mayors, lawmakers, police and military personnel to illegal drugs Sunday, ordering them to surrender for investigation as he ratcheted up his bloody war against what he calls a “pandemic.”
Duterte promptly relieved members of the military and police he named from their current posts and ordered government security personnel to be withdrawn from politicians he identified in a nationally televised speech. He also ordered gun licenses of those named revoked.
“All military and police who are attached to these people, I’m giving you 24 hours to report to your mother unit or I will whack you. I’ll dismiss you from the service,” Duterte said in the speech at a military camp in southern Davao city.
He said that the list of politicians, judges and law enforcers given to him by the military and police might or might not be true, but that he had a duty to disclose to the public how the drug problem had become so pervasive.
“There is no due process in my mouth,” Duterte said. “You can’t stop me and I’m not afraid even if you say that I can end up in jail.”
The list of names, which Duterte said included some friends, has been validated by authorities but did not contain details of the officials’ alleged involvement to the drug trade or offer any evidence. Some names were incomplete, while others had no rank or government position.
They included eight judges, one of whom was reported to have been killed by a gunman in 2008, as well as five retired and current generals. The rest were mostly town mayors and police officers. One retired general, Vicente Loot, has been previously named in public by Duterte and has denied any wrongdoing.
“It’s a pandemic,” said Duterte, a former mayor of Davao, where he built a reputation for his crime-busting style that allegedly involved extrajudicial killings.
Duterte’s latest salvo ups the ante in his war on drugs, which has already left more than 400 suspected dealers and pushers dead and more than 4,400 arrested in more than a month since he took office. Nearly 600,000 people have surrendered to authorities, hoping to avoid getting killed.
The crackdown has been one of the biggest and bloodiest in the Philippines’ recent history and has alarmed human rights groups and the dominant Roman Catholic Church. But Duterte has dismissed their concerns and has openly threatened to kill crime suspects, assuring law enforcers that he would defend them if they face lawsuits while battling criminality.
Church leader Archbishop Socrates Villegas issued a statement, read in churches Sunday in his northern district, expressing deep concerns over the killings of drugs suspects and lamenting a lack of widespread outrage over the deaths.
“Is not humanity going down to the dregs when bloodthirsty humans encourage the killers and ask for more blood?” Villegas said. “Will you kill me again and again on social media for saying this?”
Vice President Leni Robredo, who is on a trip to the U.S., said media can do a lot to help raise awareness on the need to stop the killings.
“There have been a few voices already out there against extrajudicial killings, but I think that public outcry is not there yet,” Robredo said. “I think all of us should do our share in making sure that this has to stop.”
Duterte also attended the wake of four soldiers who were killed in two clashes with communist rebels last week in the gold-mining town of Monkayo in southern Compostela Valley. Three of the soldiers were killed by a land mine blast, the military said.
Duterte criticized the rebels for using land mines, which have also killed civilians. He warned that if anyone else dies from a rebel land mine attack, he would call off peace talks that are scheduled to start Aug. 20 in Norway.

500 factories to be shifted out of Lucknow city

The authorities have begun the process of shifting out of Lucknow city 500 factories located in densely populated areas in violation of safety norms, an official said on Monday.

The Lucknow district administration has asked fire department, municipal corporation and labour department to give a final report on these factories so that notices can be issued to them, City Magistrate Vinod Kumar said.

These factories are located in densely populated areas and prima facie violating safety norms, he said.

They needed to be shut down within the city limits and moved out, Vinod Kumar said.

The fire department has been asked to check the fire safety measures at these industrial units and give a no-objection certificate or else recommend their shifting out.

"This action has been taken keeping in mind the safety of people living around these factories. Most of the factories do not meet the safety standards and have not undergone fire safety audit," Vinod Kumar said.

These big and small factories are largely engaged in production of false ceiling, plastic articles, plastic paint and plywood and are scattered around in Rajajipuram, Jankipuram, Aliganj, Chinhat and Aishbagh areas of the capital of Uttar Pradesh.

39 Killed by Mudslides in Mexico; New Storm Aims for Baja

Mountain communities in two Mexican states are recovering from weekend mudslides that killed 39 people during heavy rains brought by remnants of Hurricane Earls.

On the other side of Mexico , authorities prepared as newly formed Tropical Storm Javier churned over the Pacific toward the resorts dotted southern end of the Baja california Peninsula. Forecasters said it would close in on that area early Tuesday as a hurricane.

At least 28 people died in multiple mudslides in the mountainous north of Puebla state, National Civil Protection Coordinator Luis Felipe Puente said Sunday in an interview with ForoTV. He said 25 were killed in different parts of the township of Huauchinango and three died in Tlaola.

"It is a tragedy what has happened to our people in Huauchinango," Gabriel Alvarado, mayor of the township of Huauchinango, said in a statement issued before the full death toll had been determined. He said the torrential rain caused damage affecting at least 200 people.

In neighboring Veracruz state, 11 people lost their lives when mudslides hit the towns of Coscomatepec, Tequila and Huayacocotla, Gov. Javier Duarte said.

The continuing heavy rain led officials to close a section of the main federal highway connecting Mexico City to the region. Federal transportation authorities said the area had received a month's worth of rain in 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Javier formed off Mexico's Pacific Coast on Sunday and headed northward.

Javier had sustained winds of about 50 mph (85 kph) and was centered about 210 miles (340 kilometers) southeast of Cabo San Lucas late Sunday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said. It was moving west-northwest at about 13 mph (20 kph).Heavy rains of between 4 and 8 inches (10 to 20 centimeters) were expected, along with high winds. A tropical storm warning was in effect for the southern portion of the Baja California.
